The Botanic Garden Volunteer Opportunities
We invite you to join our valuable family of volunteers to make the The Botanic Garden a memorable experience of exploration, expectation and education for our visitors. Volunteering is a wonderful way to make a contribution to the community, form new friendships, learn new skills and have fun. Best of all, you can choose activities that fit your interests, talents and abilities.
The The Botanic Garden offers two volunteer opportunities. These programs have been designed to meet the needs of the volunteers and the needs of the botanic garden and its programs.
Volunteer Programs
- Garden Volunteer
- A program designed for individuals who wish to support the The Botanic Garden and special events with their talents but currently have limited time resources. Orientation is required before volunteer service can begin.
- Ambassador
- An elite group of gardeners who have completed 40 hours of basic horticulture training and 40 hours or more of volunteer service to the garden. A one-time materials fee and interview are required. Benefits of the Ambassador status include invitations to all special events and field trips.

The success of our show and the beauty of our gardens are made possible through the hard work and dedication of our The Botanic Garden Ambassadors.
