Oklahoma Botanical Garden & Arboretum (OBGA)

What is OBGA?

A statewide organization linking various gardens, arboreta, parks, and zoos in Oklahoma. It is the dream of its Founders and Friends to support aesthetic and culturally informative gardens of trees, flowers, shrubs, and fauna for the education and pleasure of Oklahomans of all ages.

OBGA's Mission

To serve as coordinator and developer of educational and scientific activities in areas such as landscape design and construction, plant evaluation and preservation, and ecological conservation.

It is coordinated by the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Oklahoma State Unviersity with the headquarter gardens at the OSu Botanical Garden.

Affiliate Garden members meet bi-annual and are periodically featured on Oklahoma Gardening to promote educational events, garden activities and encourage Oklahomans to enjoy the attractions Oklahoma has to offer.
